About

Tariq Singh is an editor and writer based in Brampton, Ontario, with an Honours Bachelor in Creative Writing and Publishing from Sheridan College.

He has edited for publication as Senior Content Editor at Mobile Gaming News Network and as an editor at Savant-Garde, proofreading and line-editing articles and book reviews and keeping a multi-writer publishing schedule on time. In 2022 he led the 30-member team that took the Sheridan graduate anthology from submissions to print. Since 2018 he has worked remotely as a Legal File Clerk at Bhacepatti Singh & Co., where accuracy and deadlines are the job.

His own writing spans interactive fiction, fantasy novels, mystery novellas, poetry, stage adaptations, and screenwriting. His games are built in Visual Novel Maker and RPG Maker and are still in development — the Mansion of Fate prologue and Choices are playable free on itch.io.

A Computer Programming diploma sits behind the technical side. He builds his projects with Claude as the coding partner, writing the brief, making the design calls and testing on real devices: a self-hosted smart kitchen system, a digital party game, a board game companion app, a Raspberry Pi game assistant, a team planner for Fate/Grand Order, a finder for weekday food deals, add-ons for a car dashcam, and a base tracker for the Smash Up card game.

He is open to editorial and writing roles, and to other work where clear writing and technical fluency both count.
